A sugar skull that tells the time in its eyes and keeps your training on its brows. Sugar Skull is a full-screen Día de Muertos skull for colour Garmin watches, in four looks: colour or monochrome, on a light or a dark skull. The hours and minutes sit inside the two eye flowers and the day of the week in the nose. The brows are a two-week calendar, one dot per day, each week starting on the day your watch starts its week: the left brow is the first week, the right brow the second. Each day this watch records an activity, its dot turns red, and today wears a ring. After two weeks the calendar starts over on the left brow. On AMOLED screens the always-on display shows a dim grey skull with the time, the day and the dots, and moves it a few pixels each minute to spare the screen. WHY THIS WATCH FACE ASKS FOR YOUR ACTIVITY HISTORY AND TO RUN IN THE BACKGROUND The red dots need to know which days had an activity. The face reads the start time and the duration of the activities stored on this watch, and a small background task notes the day each time the watch reports a completed activity. It reads nothing else about your activities. On the watch, in its own storage, it keeps which of the last 30 days had an activity, the day the current two weeks began, and when it last checked the list. It never sends anything anywhere: no internet access, no companion app, no server, no accounts, no analytics, no ads. Since version 1.0.1 it also asks to use the watch's complications, only so that holding the nose, the sun or an eye can open the calendar, the weather or the screen you picked. It reads nothing from them. IF YOUR WATCH SHOWS "IQ!" AFTER INSTALLING OR UPDATING That is the watch's own install step, not the face. Open the watch face list on the watch and select Sugar Skull again. It runs normally from then on. What is new

1.0.1 TOUCH AND HOLD On watches with a touchscreen: • Hold the nose to open your calendar. • Hold the sun at the top of the skull to open the weather. • Hold the hours (left eye) or the minutes (right eye) to open a screen you choose in the face's settings in the Connect IQ app: heart rate, Body Battery, stress, sleep score, steps, notifications, weather and more. Out of the box the left eye opens heart rate and the right eye Body Battery. Go back as usual and the face returns. A hold anywhere else works as before. WEEKS START ON YOUR DAY The brow calendar now starts each week on the day your watch starts its week, not always on Monday. Days already recorded are kept. FIXED The monochrome dark look could restart some larger watches (fēnix 8, epix Pro, Forerunner 965 and others). It works on every watch now. ONE NEW PERMISSION This version asks to use the watch's complications, so the face can open these screens. It reads nothing from them. IF YOUR WATCH SHOWS "IQ!"
