Know exactly when to head out — down to the minute. RainCast Pro is the premium precipitation widget for serious athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Built by AIBIN.AI, powered by SkyScout AI's prediction algorithm, it combines real-time weather intelligence with a smart Go Window algorithm that tells you precisely when to go for your run, ride, or hike. THE WEATHER WINDOW: RainCast Pro's signature feature scans the next 8 hours of precipitation data and finds your best dry window automatically — scored by precipitation probability, rainfall amount, and wind speed. Daylight-aware: sunrise and sunset are factored in, so you'll never be pointed to a 5am window in December. Instead of staring at bars and guessing, you get a direct answer: "Best time to head out: 19:00 – 21:00 · 2h · Low Risk". Thunderstorm-aware: any window containing a forecast thunderstorm is blocked entirely — if a storm is coming, you'll be told to stay inside, not sent into it. Instead of staring at bars and guessing, you get a direct answer: "Best time to head out: 19:00 – 21:00 · 2h · Low rain risk" The confidence tier tells you how good the window actually is: - Clear — very low precipitation risk across the day - Low Risk — good conditions, go for it - Some Risk — possible rain, plan accordingly - Risky — no great window, but this is the best available When no good window exists, RainCast Pro still helps: "No dry window · Rain expected" So you always know the optimal moment to go — or the least bad one. ATHLETE WINDOW: A dedicated screen for runners, cyclists, and outdoor athletes. Finds your best 2-hour window to train based on four factors: precipitation, wind speed, temperature comfort, and air quality index. AQI, wind, and temperature shown are all averaged across your window — not just current conditions. Temperature scoring uses a comfort curve centred on 10–20°C. Warnings surface automatically for rain, heat, cold, freezing temperatures, strong wind, and poor air quality. Unlike the Weather Window, the Athlete Window always returns a result — because some athletes head out regardless. NEW — DRY WINDOWS (48H OVERVIEW): One glance, two days. A dedicated screen shows your best dry window for today AND tomorrow, each rated independently — "Excellent conditions", "Good conditions", "Fair conditions", or "Risky conditions" — and color-coded so the better day jumps out instantly. A fully clear day is shown as "Clear all day" with the complete daylight span. Tomorrow's ratings are honest about forecast uncertainty: a window more than a day out never claims the top confidence tier. Days with no dry window say so plainly, so you can plan around the weather instead of hoping. WHAT YOU GET: - Dry Windows — best window for today and tomorrow side by side, independently rated, with "Clear all day" for fully dry days - Athlete Window — best 2-hour training window with AQI, wind, temp, confidence, and warnings - Weather Window — best dry window in the next 8 hours, daylight- and thunderstorm-aware, with start/end time, duration, and confidence tier - Next 60 minutes — precipitation probability in 15-minute intervals - Next 4 hours — hourly forecast overview - Your location name shown as header — updates automatically as you move - Color-coded by type: Rain (blue), Snow (white), Ice (light blue), Mix (purple) - Visual timeline showing your Weather Window vs rain slots at a glance - Smart summaries: "Rain possible in ~15 min" or "Great conditions · go!" - Night hours skipped automatically (22:00–06:00) — no useless 3am windows - Auto-refreshes every time you open the widget HOW IT WORKS: Uses your watch GPS to fetch hyper-local precipitation and air quality data via Open-Meteo — no account, no subscription required beyond the one-time purchase. Location name powered by OpenStreetMap. No ads, no tracking. Powered by Open-Meteo & OpenStreetMap | Built by AIBIN.AI | SkyScout AI Algorithm

v4.1 The Dry Windows screen's tomorrow row used to come up empty for most of the day, simply because the app's short-range data ran out before reaching tomorrow's daylight hours. It now falls back to a longer-range forecast when that happens, so tomorrow shows a real window, correctly rated and thunderstorm-checked the same as today, from early afternoon onward instead of only very late at night. Two related honesty fixes: if today's dry window has already ended, the screen now says so plainly instead of implying it rained all day. And "Clear all day" is no longer shown for a day the app hasn't actually finished looking at yet, that label now only appears when the forecast genuinely reaches sunset.
