You no longer need to keep Task Reminder open to receive alerts. Set up your reminders, leave the app, and Task Reminder will alert you in the background when they are due. Whether you need a reminder to take medication or vitamins, drink water, take a break, keep up with a daily routine, or remember one-off events such as appointments, meetings and birthdays, Task Reminder helps keep the things that matter on schedule. Set up to 10 reminders, each with its own name and time. A reminder can be recurring on any combination of days – every day, weekdays, weekends or just the particular days you choose – or scheduled as a one-off event on a specific date. When a reminder is due, Task Reminder generates an alert even when the app isn't open. Supported devices can also provide sound and/or vibration according to the device's capabilities and settings. Open Task Reminder at any time for a clear overview of what's coming next. The main screen shows your NEXT reminder – or NOW when one is currently due – together with the number of reminders scheduled for tomorrow. Tap the main screen or press the appropriate button on non-touch devices to see your complete Today schedule, including reminders that have already passed, are currently due or are still to come. From there you can also view Tomorrow's schedule. FEATURES • Up to 10 configurable reminders • Background alerts – no need to leave the app open • Recurring reminders on any combination of days • One-off reminders for appointments, meetings, birthdays and other events • Useful for medication, vitamins, hydration, breaks, routines and other everyday reminders • Clear NEXT and NOW display • Today and Tomorrow schedule views • Sound and vibration on supported devices • Automatic display using your Garmin 12/24-hour time preference • Reminder settings entered using simple 24-hour HH times • One-off dates entered in DD/MM/YYYY format • Automatic warning if two reminders are scheduled too close together • Configuration warnings help identify incomplete or invalid reminder settings • Designed for both touchscreen and button-operated Garmin devices IMPORTANT FOR EXISTING USERS Version 3.0 introduces an entirely new reminder and scheduling system. If you are upgrading from an earlier version, please open Settings after installing the update and configure your reminders using the new Reminder Type and recurring-day options. If you previously tried Task Reminder and found that having to leave the app running didn't suit you, Version 3.0 is worth another look. The reminder system has been rebuilt specifically so that alerts can operate in the background, while the new streamlined interface focuses entirely on your reminders and schedule. IMPORTANT Task Reminder is a general-purpose reminder app. Although it can be used for medication reminders, it is not a medical device and should not be relied upon as the sole means of remembering essential medication or other critical tasks. If you have any issues, PLEASE visit, and carefully read, my FAQ page first (https://www.bvdesigns.info/faq) and follow the advice and instructions given before using the "Contact Developer" link - most of the answers to your questions should be there. If contact is made first and the answer is already there, you will be referred back to the FAQ page. Your co-operation on this would be most greatly appreciated. https://www.bvdesigns.info/garmin **Note on colours: Due to the display technology, some of the Garmin system colours may look muted on actual devices. You will not be able to see things on your device as they are on a computer, due to different technologies for the Garmin device.
