Description

Cruise a pixel-art coastal highway in a red sports car, the way the arcade cabinets of the 80s drew it. Palm trees, mountains, a striped sun and a sky drawn in hard colour bands, with a time and date font on the same 3×5 pixel grid as the artwork. FIVE SCENES THAT FOLLOW THE REAL SUN Palm Cruiser reads your watch's own sunrise and sunset and switches the artwork through night, dawn, day, sunset and dusk. At night the sky fills with stars and a moon, the tail lights glow and the headlights throw two light cones down the road; at sunset the big striped sun sinks behind the palms. IT COMES ALIVE EVERY TIME YOU LOOK For a few seconds after you raise your wrist the road stripes roll toward you, clouds drift, palms sway, the mountains slide as the car steers, the tail lights flash and, every other wake, the rear wheels spin up a cloud of pixel smoke. On some daytime wakes the road bends to the right. A woman by the roadside waves as you pass. All motion stops after 8 seconds to save battery. FUEL GAUGE = BATTERY The six-segment fuel gauge at the top shows your watch battery. BOTTOM FIELD OF YOUR CHOICE Heart rate, steps, calories, floors, intensity minutes, Body Battery, stress, Pulse Ox, respiration, recovery time, sunrise/sunset, weekly run/bike distance, VO2 max, altitude, pressure, temperature, notifications and more — everything your watch offers. Pick it in the Garmin Connect app or directly on the watch (hold to open the watch-face settings). Press and hold the field to jump to the matching widget. 12 OR 24 HOURS — YOUR CHOICE Auto (follows your watch), 12-hour or 24-hour, in the Garmin Connect app or in the settings menu on the watch. ALWAYS-ON A dimmed time and date only, drifting slowly to protect the display, well under the AMOLED always-on limit. SCENE LOCK In the watch's own watch-face editor you can lock the artwork to Auto, Always day, Always sunset or Always night. LANGUAGES Settings and menus in 36 languages. The dial itself (date and data) uses the pixel font and is shown in English. Original pixel artwork — nothing is copied from any game, film or brand. Requires an AMOLED watch with a 454×454 display (see the compatible devices list).
