EmberDip, formerly Nordic, is a free, button-driven timer and activity logger for sauna, cold plunge and alternating hot/cold sessions on selected Garmin watches. Track the heat. Track the cold. Track a standalone sauna or cold plunge session, or manually move through a Contrast Cycle with separate sauna, transition, cold plunge and rest phases. Large elapsed timers and physical-button controls keep the focus on your session. No subscription, payments, tips or donations. - No separate EmberDip account or required companion app. IMPORTANT USE LIMITS Keep the watch OUTSIDE the sauna and within the temperature limits in your exact model's manual. The original Enduro is rated -20 to 45 C (-4 to 113 F); do not assume that range applies to other models. Use an independent visible clock when needed. EmberDip has no remote alerts or automatic phase changes. Timings follow button presses and can include travel, not measured heat or cold exposure. Operate buttons above water. An optional ANT+ heart-rate strap is recommended for off-wrist tracking only within its manufacturer's temperature and water-use limits. A strap is not automatically sauna-safe. Radio signals may be lost underwater or out of range. No Bluetooth-only strap support, stored-heart-rate backfill or optical-heart-rate fallback. EmberDip is a timer and logger, not a medical device or exposure-safety monitor. Heart rate does not indicate that it is safe to remain in heat or cold. No exposure durations or treatment protocols are prescribed. COMPATIBILITY Use the Compatible Devices tab on this listing to confirm support for your exact watch. This release targets selected round 280x280 MIP watches; not every Enduro, fenix, tactix or quatix model is interchangeable. No AMOLED or smaller-display support. Use physical buttons on the timer. Taps and swipes do not start, pause or advance phases. Native menus retain their normal controls. Physical-watch behavior, ANT+ reception and Garmin Connect custom-heart-rate rendering on added models still need real-world validation.
