Description
Free to use; extras unlock with a one-time purchase.
A big-time watch face for runners, built to be read at a glance mid-run. Made for the Instinct 2, 2S, 2X, 3 Solar and E (40/45 mm) and the Descent G1, and also on round fenix, Enduro, Forerunner, MARQ, Descent Mk2 and vivoactive watches with a memory-in-pixel screen, where it draws the Instinct's round window itself.
From top to bottom:
- This week's runs as seven squares, filled on each day you ran (the week starts on your watch's first day of the week)
- Top slot (Intensity Minutes by default), the date, and battery percentage with days left
- Round window: heart rate (1-minute average) by default, in large digits under its icon
- Large time, with Bluetooth status, unread notifications and AM/PM beside it, plus a vertical gauge: today's steps against your step goal by default, or running distance or time (today, this week, this month), distance on foot or Intensity Minutes (today, this week) or ascent today against a goal you set
- Day/night bar: sunrise to sunset by day, sunset to sunrise by night, with the weather or the moon phase
- Running distance for this week (W) and this month (M), summed from your watch's own activity history; walks, hikes and rides are not counted
- Two bottom slots (altitude and ascent today by default)
Customize it in the Connect IQ app. The round window, the Intensity Minutes format and white on black (instead of black on white) are free to set. The top slot, the two bottom slots and the gauge (marked with a star in the settings) can be changed during a 7-day trial, and stay unlocked for good with a one-time purchase ($3.99) at murmurgram.gumroad.com/l/runner-instinct: enter the 12-character Watch face ID from the settings at checkout, and type the key you receive by email into Unlock key. After the trial, the starred settings return to their defaults (Intensity Minutes; altitude and ascent today; steps) until unlocked. Choose from altitude, wrist temperature, Intensity Minutes, weather temperature, watch battery, weekly or monthly running distance, Body Battery, recovery time, steps, resting heart rate, stress, barometric pressure, 1-minute average heart rate, weekly or monthly running time, and ascent today. Intensity Minutes can show the weekly total (52) or progress against your goal (52/150).
Privacy: everything is computed on the watch. Nothing is stored, and nothing is sent anywhere. If you buy the unlock, Gumroad handles the payment and your email address is used only to send your key and for support. Permissions are used for activity history and user profile (running distance and time, resting heart rate), sensor history (altitude, temperature, Body Battery, stress, pressure, heart rate), and position (sunrise and sunset from the weather location).
Time digits use Bebas Neue by Dharma Type (SIL Open Font License 1.1).
What is new
The gauge beside the time can now show running distance or time (today, this week, this month), distance on foot or Intensity Minutes (today, this week), or ascent today against a goal you set (starred setting).
