A watch face that shows the sky as it is above you, right now. Constellations turn with sidereal time, the Milky Way crosses the dial, and the sky itself changes with your latitude: this is not a backdrop, it is your sky. WHAT IT CAN DO • BODIES WHERE THEY BELONG. The Sun, the Moon with today's phase and the naked-eye planets are projected at their real altitude and azimuth. Nothing is drawn within 12 degrees of the Sun: a body that close is drowned in its light, and showing it would be a lie. • DAYLIGHT FOLLOWS THE SUN. During the day an amber halo surrounds it and travels with it hour by hour, with a reflection running along the rim on the side where it stands. At dawn a pink glow rises from the horizon; at dusk it turns violet. Everything is computed from the Sun's POSITION, never from clock time — beyond the polar circle, clock time means nothing. • THE SPACE STATION. The face announces its next visible pass overhead, with its track. Orbital elements are fetched from Celestrak by a background task. • FOUR METRICS AROUND THE RIM, readable at a glance: battery, heart rate, calories and steps. Cardinal points tell you where to look. • IN ALWAYS-ON, the face falls back to a handful of the brightest stars and an outlined time: a screen that stays lit has to spend little, and so does the panel. • NOTHING TO SET UP. The face uses the position your watch already knows — within 50 km, the sky is the same. PRIVACY Everything is computed on the watch. Reliability fix: the ISS pass is now computed in short steps in the background. Before, the watch could interrupt this calculation again and again, which could also block the purchase check. Nothing changes on the dial.
