A tool-watch hybrid: hands over a field instrument dial, with a digital time on an LCD below them and the day's readings set around the face. The hour and minute hands are open skeleton blades in the theme colour, and a thin silver second hand with a coloured tip ticks over them. Around the edge, a black 24-hour bezel is numbered 24, 02, 04 round to 22, over a chapter ring with a coloured triangle at every hour. Lower down, a light LCD shows the time in large seven-segment digits, with the seconds beside them and the faint unlit segments showing through, as on a real LCD. Your heart rate is on the row above. At the top, a weekday disc carries the seven days round its edge, with today's lit. The date and month sit in the middle of the disc. On either side, two small dark windows show the current temperature and the weather: sun, partly cloudy, cloud, rain, snow, storm or fog, with a moon on clear nights. Below the temperature sits one more reading of your choice, altitude by default. On the right, a rounded light panel lists today's steps, distance and calories. On the left, a battery gauge lights one of its ten segments for every tenth of charge, with the percentage in the middle. The domed plate at the bottom holds the LCD, your unread notifications, the floors climbed today and the name of the place your weather comes from. The dial is built in layers. The bezel and chapter ring frame a finely striped dial, and the panels, windows, disc and gauge stand off it with their own bevels and shadows. Five colour themes each change the whole dial, not only an accent: Desert in olive and amber, Ember in gunmetal and orange, Glacier in navy and ice blue, Signal in carbon and red, and Lagoon in petrol and aqua. Always-on keeps nearly everything on screen, dimmed on black: the hour triangles, the date and weekday, temperature, your chosen reading, battery with a thin ring for its level, steps, distance, calories, heart rate, the digital time, notifications, floors and the hands. It is measured against the display brightness limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS Colour theme: Desert, Ember, Glacier, Signal or Lagoon. Field under temperature: altitude, pressure, rain chance, humidity, wind, next sunrise or sunset, body battery, stress, or off. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Show seconds: on or off. Turns off the second hand and the LCD seconds. Time format, distance, altitude and wind units follow the watch's own settings.
