A split-flap clock as big as the watch: two flip cards fill almost the whole dial, with a sliding instrument scale above them and another below. The hours and minutes sit on stacked cards, the digits more than half the dial tall, split at the hinge like a real flip clock. The time follows the watch's own 12/24-hour setting. Above and below the cards runs a gauge band. The scale itself moves behind a fixed red index, and a small square lens over the index magnifies the fine row so the exact value reads through it. Each band can show your step goal, the battery, body battery, stress, floors or weekly intensity minutes, with a red zone where the reading warns - low charge, high stress. At the top, the date: the day on a red inlay, the weekday, and the month on its own plaque, in the watch's language. At the bottom, a row of number drums: the current temperature with a realistic weather icon - sun, cloud, rain, snow, storm, fog, or the moon at night - or, if you prefer, heart rate, calories or floors climbed, each with its own icon. The dial is built like an instrument panel: a ribbed crinkle-finish fascia, metal trims and screws, and bands that run off both edges of the screen and fade into the fascia, as if one long scale passed behind the dial. Five themes change it: Navy and Copper, Ivory and Brass, Aviator, Field Olive and Racing Green. Always-on keeps the flip cards and the full date - day, weekday and month - dimmed on black.
