Description

Jump Hour tells the time the way a jumping-hour watch does: the hour is a single numeral, magnified under a domed lens at twelve, changing in one step on the hour. The minutes are read normally, from one hand against a chapter ring. Nothing else moves. Drawn entirely in code — every line, tick, bevel and guilloché is rendered on the watch rather than shipped as an image, so it is equally sharp on a 360px Forerunner and a 454px epix Pro. COMPLICATIONS Six slots, in an order you choose, shown one at a time in the aperture at six. 42 data sources: heart rate, body battery, steps, calories, floors, intensity minutes, stress, sleep score, pulse ox, respiration, recovery time, training status, VO2 max, weekly run and bike distance, race predictors and race paces from 5K to marathon, altitude, sea-level pressure, temperature, high/low, solar input, sunrise, sunset, current weather and three-day forecast, calendar, notifications, battery, date and more. ON THE WRIST (touchscreen models) - Press and hold the aperture — opens the Garmin app behind that reading - Press and hold the lens — cycles the palette - Press and hold the centre — steps to the next complication On non-touch watches everything is set from MENU - Watch Face - Settings, on the watch itself. No phone required. 31 PALETTES Ivory, Slate, Moss, Copper, Graphite, Onyx, Midnight, Ember, Forest, Indigo, Char, Teal, Wine, Olive, Gunmetal, Oxblood, Bronze, Mono, Paper, Stealth, Amber, Terminal, Cyan, Red, Orange, Lime, Ice, Azure, Violet, Yellow and Gold. ALWAYS-ON A separate design, not a dimmed copy: the hour numeral, the lens rim in outline, the minute hand as one stroke, and marks at three, six and nine. It drifts slowly so no pixel holds a single colour, and lights around 3% of the panel. 12- or 24-hour follows your watch's own setting. Inspired by the exquisite watch designs of Christopher Ward.
