Description

Use your Garmin watch as a push-to-talk (PTT) button for TeamTalk, the professional walkie-talkie app. The watch connects over Bluetooth to the TeamTalk app on your phone (iPhone or Android). Voice goes through the phone or its Bluetooth headset: the watch only drives the PTT. Buttons: • Talk button, held (DOWN by default): you talk as long as you hold it. • Alert button, pressed twice within 5 seconds (UP by default): SOS alert sent to your team with your position. • Menu (hold UP): choose both buttons, send an alert, test vibration, diagnostics. Every other button keeps its usual role. Both buttons are chosen on the watch, so you can avoid the shortcuts your Garmin already uses. Screen: • Situation page: time, date, battery, address, road, channel, and the compass all around the edge of the screen. • Channel page: who is talking, who spoke recently, who is online. • The screen's outline shows the state: blue ready, red transmitting, green someone talking, orange alert armed, grey phone unreachable. Long vibration when transmitting starts, two short ones when it stops. Requires the TeamTalk app on your phone, with a TeamTalk account. In TeamTalk: Profile › PTT pairing, sound and mic › Garmin watch › Choose my watch.
