Description

Drift plays calm, looping nature sounds to help you fall asleep, straight from your watch: through its speaker or your Bluetooth headphones, with no phone needed at night. WHAT YOU GET - Four sounds, recorded outdoors and levelled to the same loudness: Rain, Ocean, Morning Birds, Fireplace. - A sleep timer of 15 or 30 minutes. The sound fades out gently over the last minute and playback stops by itself. - Sounds are stored on the watch, so nothing streams while you sleep. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Drift from the music player (Music/Drift) or from the app list. 2. Choose "Sync sounds", tick the sounds you want and press "Sync". The watch connects to Wi-Fi and downloads them (about 11 MB per sound). You can add or remove sounds any time the same way. 3. Pick a sound. It starts playing in the watch's music player, where you control the volume and can switch to the previous or next downloaded sound. 4. Set the timer under Settings/Timer. The player shows how much time is left. REQUIREMENTS - A Garmin watch with music playback and Wi-Fi (the same requirement as any music service on the watch). - Wi-Fi only for downloading; playback works offline. - Watches without a speaker play through Bluetooth headphones. Recordings come from Freesound under Creative Commons licenses; the authors are credited in the app's source repository.
