CatchLog - fishing tracker No feed. No public spots. No CatchLog account or server. CatchLog records a fishing session as a Garmin activity and keeps a private memory of every catch on your watch. Log species, size, bait, pressure, time, fishing conditions, and the current GPS position. Each successfully saved catch becomes an activity lap and a local waypoint, so the catch time aligns with the GPS track in Garmin Connect. MAIN FEATURES - Record duration, GPS track, heart rate, catch count, and custom fishing FIT fields - Log a catch with species, size, bait, and an exact fresh GPS fix - 30 built-in popular fish species with unique artwork - Six built-in bait choices with unique artwork - Size units: cm, g, lb, or in, with configurable step sizes - Spot Memory finds your own nearby past catches within 100, 200, or 500 m - Catch History calendar lets you select caught days and reopen saved locations - Live barometric pressure and three-hour trend when supported by the watch - Offline background pressure-shift alerts; API 5.1 watches offer View Matches and Snooze actions, while older supported watches use Garmin's native open-app prompt - Save available weather, air temperature, humidity, wind, moon phase, water temperature, and pressure with each catch - Choose the condition shown on the active-session tile, including fish/h - Session summary with catch rate, best catch, dry spell, and saved conditions - Native Garmin map for saved catch locations on mapping-capable watches, with a safe location fallback elsewhere - Glance summary on devices that support app glances - Fully offline CatchLog history with a rolling local capacity of about 500 catches CONTROLS Use Up and Down to move through pages or choices, Select to activate or edit, Menu for settings, and Back to return. Touch rows, buttons, swipes, map pan, and map zoom are available on touch-capable watches. Physical-button paths remain available. REQUIREMENTS AND DATA USE CatchLog requires Connect IQ API 3.2 or newer on a compatible round AMOLED Garmin watch. GPS is required to save a catch location. Weather values depend on Garmin weather availability. Native map display, actionable notifications, and app glances depend on watch capability. Permissions are used for positioning, activity recording, custom FIT fields, sensors and pressure history, background checks, native notifications, local app storage, and local waypoints. CatchLog does not create an account, contact a CatchLog server, publish spots, or share a feed. Your Garmin activity can sync through the watch's normal Garmin Connect settings; CatchLog's private spot-history database remains local to the app. CatchLog is a personal logbook. Follow the fishing licence requirements, closed seasons, and minimum size limits that apply where you fish. - bikintulis.de
