Description
A split-flap flip clock set in a square-cornered vintage instrument panel, where the gauges work like the date disc of a classic watch: the scale moves, the pointer stays still.
The hours and minutes sit on two flip cards at the top centre, with the weekday on a plate above them, the day number on a red inlay and the month on its own plaque.
Below the clock, two long gauges carry step goal and battery on a 0-100 scale, or body battery and stress if you prefer. The printed scale slides behind a fixed red index as the value changes, and rolls away into shade at both ends of its window, as if wound on a drum. A small square glass cursor sits over the index and magnifies a fine row of numbers printed for every single unit, so the exact value reads through the lens. Battery and body battery show a red zone below 20, stress a red zone above 75.
Either side of the clock, four readings turn on number drums like an old odometer: pulse and steps on the left, body battery and calories on the right by default. Each row can show heart rate, steps, distance, calories, body battery, altitude, floors climbed, stress, battery or active minutes. The unused drums show a faint zero, and distance carries its tenths on a red last drum like a trip meter. At the bottom, the current temperature turns on its own drums, with a weather glyph beside it: sun, moon, or either behind cloud, picked from real sunrise and sunset for your location.
The whole panel is built in layers like real hardware: a ribbed wrinkle-finish fascia with a window cut for every gauge and drum, each window cut at two corners on the same angle and edged in polished metal trim, real shadows inside every window, screws holding the plate down, and the flip cards and date plate standing proud of it all.
Always-on shows the flip clock and the date alone, dimmed, measured against the display brightness limit so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds.
SETTINGS
Theme: Ivory and Brass, Aviator, Field Olive, Navy and Copper, or Racing Green. Each one changes the whole panel together - fascia, metal trim, gauge scales, cards, drums and print.
Top gauge and bottom gauge: step goal, battery, body battery or stress.
Left and right drums, top and bottom: heart rate, steps, distance, calories, body battery, altitude, floors climbed, stress, battery or active minutes (week).
Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Time format follows the watch's own 12/24-hour setting; distance and altitude units, the weekday and the month follow the watch.
