Gaelic Ref is a match clock and scorecard for Gaelic football and hurling referees, run entirely from the watch buttons so it works with gloves on and in the rain. ON THE PITCH • Big match clock with time left, or added time in red once the half is over • Both scores in the teams' colours, shown as goals-points and total, e.g. 1-12 (15) • Points, goals and two-pointers, yellow, black and red cards, and substitutions, each two presses away: UP for home, DOWN for away • Black card starts a ten-minute sin-bin countdown on playing time, frozen through half-time and finished in the second half • A second card to the same player is marked as a dismissal • BACK undoes the last event after asking. Fix score takes a goal or point off at any time • Vibration at the end of each half, and an optional warning at 1, 2 or 5 minutes to go • Extra time, two periods, length set in the app settings NEVER LOSES A MATCH Every event is saved the moment it happens. If the watch restarts or the app is closed, it offers to pick the match up exactly where it was, clock included. The clock runs from timestamps, so a phone call or notification can't drift it. AFTER THE MATCH • Full-time report with halves, cards and subs, saved to a history of your last 30 matches • Your own run is recorded as a Garmin activity, one lap per half, so your distance, pace and heart rate land in Garmin Connect with the final score attached SETTINGS (Garmin Connect app on your phone) Clock counts up or down · warning before the end of a half · vibration on/off · extra-time length · half length for the Custom grade Grades from under-11 to senior inter-county are built in with the standard half lengths. Check the underage lengths against your county's bye-laws and use the Custom grade if they differ. Free, no account, no ads. Built by Baseline Tech in Ireland.
