Description
See what's in the tank: Body Battery, Garmin Recovery Time and Training Status at a glance.
Tank is a focused athlete watch face built around one question: what's in the tank right now?
Time owns the centre. Below it, ENERGY shows Garmin Body Battery and RECOVERY shows Garmin Recovery Time in hours remaining. Both arcs use the same visual rule—more fill means more available—so the Recovery arc fills as Garmin's countdown approaches zero. The number remains Garmin's honest hours-remaining value; Tank does not turn it into an invented readiness score.
Training Status stays separate above the time, with a legible semantic-colour marker and the full Garmin status name. Garmin exposes Recovery Time and Training Status to Connect IQ, but not the native Training Readiness score shown elsewhere on compatible watches. Tank never claims to reproduce it.
Hold the left Energy gauge or value to open Garmin's Body Battery detail. Hold the right Recovery gauge or value to open Garmin's Recovery Time detail. A normal tap does nothing. The gesture uses Garmin's native complication route, so Tank does not maintain a duplicate detail screen.
The quiet support row shows weather and temperature, daily stress, and steps. Watch battery stays out of the way unless it falls below 20%, when it replaces steps with an amber or red warning. Temperature follows the unit already chosen on the watch, without repeating an unnecessary C or F.
Unavailable data is never disguised as zero:
- `WAIT` means Garmin Recovery Time is still loading.
- `NO DATA` means Garmin resolved the source but supplied no usable value.
- `OLD` means the displayed Body Battery sample is more than 30 minutes old.
- `--` marks an unavailable supporting metric.
Garmin's Recovery Time and Training Status complications do not provide source timestamps, so Tank does not invent freshness warnings for them. Stale weather is removed, and Body Battery is marked `OLD` only because its history does include a timestamp.
Choose among Tank, High contrast, and Colour-vision friendly themes. Seconds are optional and appear only while the watch is awake. The recovery gauge can be scaled to 48, 72, or 96 hours without changing the numeric Garmin value.
Tank performs no developer analytics, advertising, tracking, or data upload. Health, activity, weather, system, and complication values are rendered locally on the watch.
