Description

Companion app to "Avalanche forecast datafield for Norway and Sweden"! Displays the same data as the main app, but in a datafield format. Data is continously fetched in the background for an up-to-date avalanche forecast for the region the watch is in. The data is downloaded from varsom.no and the avalanche forecast service in Norway, and lavinprognoser.se the avalanche forecast service in Sweden. Use the warnings, data and maps at your own risk. Errors and omissions may be present. A warning is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. Adjust your own risk by choosing where, when and how you travel. Warnings are regional and based on available observations and weather forecasts. Conditions may be complex and differ from the warning. Icons courtesy of European Avalanche Warning Services: https://www.avalanches.org/

What is new

1.8 * Support for new devices. (Fenix 9, Forerunner 70/170) 1.7 * Add support for white background color. 1.6 * During activity, indicate active avalanche problems based on gps altitude. When the altitude is within the exposed heights of an avalanche problem, render it in color. Otherwise, render problems in grayscale to indicate that they are not active at the current altitude. * Tweak spacing for smaller screens. * Simplify a few rendering paths 1.5 * Fix fetch url 1.4 * Fix subscription setup flow for devices that can't do foreground requests. Unfortunately it's a bit slow since they are limited to one background check every 5 minutes and can't do any requests in between. 1.3: * Display exposed heights when there are less than 3 avalanche problems. 1.2: * Add setting for "enable background fetching" to allow users to disable it. 1.1: * Fix a few issues related to watch location finding 1.0: * Initial release.
