The matching Evergreen Staging phone app, with or without passive sensing, is required to synchronize this companion. Phone builds are distributed to invited staging testers. Installing the watch app does not create an Evergreen account or provide the phone app. Connect your compatible Garmin watch to Evergreen to record mood check-ins, view steps and phone-synced Insights, and continue recommended conversations on your phone. Mood check-ins remain queued on the watch until Evergreen confirms them. Today’s steps come from your Garmin watch; sleep and historical Insights come from the connected Evergreen phone app. Pair your watch in Garmin Connect, sign in to Evergreen, and complete phone onboarding. Use Connect Garmin in Evergreen Settings to select your watch. Enable Watch companion and keep Evergreen open on both devices for initial synchronization. Until setup is complete, follow the watch’s phone setup and sync prompts. This is the staging companion for invited Evergreen testers. It works with both the passive-sensing and non-passive staging phone builds.
