Description

Ashenmarch turns your runs, rides and paddles into a game of territory. Close a loop and the land inside becomes your House's holding. Hold it, fortify it, and take other Houses' ground by marching through it. Land you don't defend fades with time, and rivals can lay siege to it. On your Garmin: - Start a march on foot, on horseback (cycling) or by sea (paddling). Your last choice is remembered. - See whose land you're on as you go: Fortifying your own, Invading another House's, Contested, with a distinct buzz each time the ground changes. - Know when your loop closes: "Closes in 40 m", then Claiming. - Pace, distance, time and circuits on a second page; the time of day is always one press away. - March with no phone. Territory near you is kept on the watch and refreshed in the background, so it works out of reach. Your march is sealed on the wrist and filed by itself when your phone or the watch's Wi-Fi is back. Nothing is lost if the battery dies mid-march. - Pause, seal or discard like a native Garmin activity. The always-on screen keeps the same view, dimmed. Claims are decided after your march, from the full track, so the verdict arrives on your phone shortly after the march is filed. Link once: scan the code on the watch with your phone, or enter it at ashenmarch.com/link. With no phone, enter a code from ashenmarch.com/garmin in the app's settings in Garmin Connect. The Ashenmarch watch face then links itself. Unlink any time from the app (hold UP) or from your Linked devices on the web. Your location is recorded only during a march and is used to play the game.
