I created a reddit to interact with y'all, come and join! Under them, a trace of your heart rate over the last hour. A small satellite rides the bezel at the minute hand's position, and a robot floats beside the clock. A CONSOLE, NOT A DASHBOARD One colour - amber - on a striped dark background, with the brackets, hatches and edge readouts of an old mission console. Everything drawn on screen takes that single hue and its shades. HONEST DATA When the watch has no reading, a field shows -- rather than a made-up number. ALWAYS-ON Only the time and date stay lit, in a dimmed amber, and they drift a few pixels every minute to protect the AMOLED screen. Nothing else is lit. ON THE WATCH Hold UP, pick Watch Face, select Orbiter Lite, press START, then Customize. The menu is drawn in the style of the face and holds a short How it works guide and one switch, for the robot's flames. Nothing needs a phone. THE THREE LOCKED SCREENS The tab bar shows four names. This free version has the first one. Orbiter, the full version, adds the three others: five data rows you choose, weather with the sun's arc across the day and a wind compass, and the Earth from orbit with continents, the day-night line and your position. It also has five colours, ten hats to unlock for the robot, and a daily goal that earns them. WATCHES AMOLED screens only.
