Description

That ridge on the horizon — what is it called? Lift your wrist and find out. VERT Peaks puts the summits around you on your watch: a compass showing which peaks lie ahead, a list of everything nearby, and a detail screen with height, distance and bearing for each one. No phone in your hand, no glove off, no waiting. WHAT YOU GET - Turn on the spot and the compass follows: the peak you are facing is always the one named - The list ranks what is around you, nearest first, with height and distance - Open any summit for its exact height, how far it is and which way to look - It keeps working where your phone has no signal LOADED ONCE, YOURS AFTERWARDS Peak data for your area comes in over your connection — through Garmin Connect on your phone, or Wi-Fi or LTE on the watch itself. Once an area is loaded it stays cached on the watch and works offline, which is the state most mountains are in. No account. No sign-in. Nothing to create before you can use it. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS NOT There is no camera and no map here — that is deliberate. This is a name for the thing you are looking at, not another map to navigate with. It runs on every round Garmin model.
