What is new

Your tire pressure – directly on your Garmin Bike4Sport Tire Pressure suggests starting pressures for your front and rear tires on Road, Gravel and MTB bikes, based on your weight, bike and wheelset. Create and save your bikes directly on your Garmin Edge, then quickly select the setup you are riding. • Save up to four bikes with two named wheelsets per bike. • Choose Road, Gravel or MTB with XC/Trail. • Enter bike weight, wheel size and tire width. • Select inner tubes, tubeless with hooked rims or hookless tubeless. • Use matching front and rear settings, or enter different rear-wheel details. • Use rider weight from your Garmin profile or enter it manually. Equipment weight is entered separately. • View separate front and rear starting pressures in bar. • Open the result to see the information behind the calculation. • View current weather and available hourly and daily forecasts from Garmin. • Adjust riding conditions and temperature manually for your ride. GETTING STARTED Create a bike, add your wheelset and enter the actual pressure limits for your tires and rims. Check your details and select Save bike. Enter your rider weight, then select your bike and wheelset to view your starting pressures. A phone is optional for setup. Bikes and wheelsets are created on your Edge. COMPATIBILITY Edge 1030, 1030 Plus, 1040, 1050, 840/Solar, 850 and Explore 2. On Edge 1030, 1030 Plus and 850, open the app from the app menu. On the other supported models, you can also open it from the glance view. ABOUT THE CALCULATION The calculation covers Road tires from 24–35 mm, Gravel tires from 35–55 mm and MTB tires from 2.0–2.8 inches, with wheel sizes of 26, 27.5 and 29/700c. The model supports a combined load of 60–130 kg. The suggested pressures are starting points and should be adjusted to your specific setup and riding style. The app uses the component limits you enter and does not include a database of all tires and rims. Fresh current rain data can automatically select wet conditions. Forecasts, rain probability, wind and humidity do not change tire pressure. If weather data is missing or outdated, select riding conditions manually. Mud is selected manually and uses the wet-condition model as its starting point. Snow/ice on Gravel and MTB uses a provisional rule that has not been field-validated. No winter pressure recommendation is provided for Road bikes. Learn more about Bike4Sport: https://bike4sport.dk/pages/bikefit
