Four parallel coloured waves cross the middle of the dial, with a large clock above them and the date below. The clock is one line of big bold digits across the top, hours and minutes. Under the waves, the full weekday, the day and the month, set the same distance below the waves as the clock is above them. At the bottom, the battery with its level drawn inside it and the percentage beside it; the level turns red when the battery runs low. Each wave is a progress bar. It ripples gently in from the left edge of the dial and ends in a round tip just right of centre, filling from the left: steps against your step goal, body battery and stress out of 100, heart rate across its everyday range. After each tip sits its icon and its reading in the wave's own colour, with room for a five-digit step count. The four waves are identical and evenly spaced, so the gaps between them never change, and the unfilled part of each is a dark tone of its colour, so all four are always there even at zero. The wave edges are smooth, and a filled end has exactly the shape of the tip. Always-on keeps the clock and all four waves in place, dimmed, on true black. It is measured against the display brightness limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. On always-on screens that need no dimming, the face simply stays as it is.
