Description

The watch companion of MatchMate, the app for friends who play five-a-side (or 6/7-a-side) football every week. • Your team's match on your wrist: the lineups made in the MatchMate app, with kit names and colours. • Live score: start the match, add goals by player, fix mistakes. Only one watch keeps the score; teammates' watches follow it read-only, and the phone app and website update in real time. • Timed goalkeeper swap: the watch vibrates every N minutes if your team turned it on. • Your personal stats: the match is recorded as a soccer activity (also in Garmin Connect) and your heart rate minute by minute, distance, calories, steps, top speed and sprints show up in your private report in the MatchMate app. Only you can see them. • No phone nearby? Result and stats are kept on the watch and sent when it reconnects. Requires a free MatchMate account (matchmate.it). The first time, the watch shows a 6-digit code: enter it in the app under Settings › Garmin watch.

What is new

Real time of every goal (for the match timeline and highlights in the MatchMate app), GPS track for your heatmap, and no more crash at kick-off on watches without a soccer activity (e.g. Vivoactive 3).
