Description

Munro Planner — routes on your wrist Send a route from the Munro Planner phone app straight to your Garmin and navigate it on the hill, with the phone left in your pack. • Follow your route over Garmin's own topographic map on map-capable watches, or a clear breadcrumb trail on other supported models. • Get an off-route vibration alert if you stray from the line. • Celebrate summits reached along your route. • Record your walk as a native Garmin hiking activity, with time, distance, ascent and elevation samples. • See glanceable route, guide, ascent-profile and live-stat screens with time, heart rate, distance, ascent and distance-to-go. • View turn guidance and route hazards sent by the phone, with prominent alerts for urgent information. Plan your Munros in the Munro Planner app, choose a route, and send it to your watch. Requires the Munro Planner phone app and Garmin Connect on your phone.

What is new

Version 1.0.33 shows a confirmation when a route reaches the watch, improves reliability when reopening a saved route, and fixes a stats-screen error with route timings sent from iPhone. Battery-life and walk-transfer behavior are still being tested across watch models.
