His poster changes with each seventh of your daily step goal: 30 million, 100 million, 300 million, 400 million, 500 million, 1.5 billion and 3 billion Berry. The bounty on the poster grows with every step, and a line at the bottom shows how many steps are left to the next poster. Raise your wrist and the bounty rolls up from your last look to now. If you reached a new stage since then, the Marine stamp hits the old poster, it falls out of the picture, and the next one is nailed up. Reach your step goal and your next look plays the finale once a day: a white flash, Gear 5 for ten seconds, then the 3 billion poster with the banner "EMPEROR OF THE SEA" until midnight. After midnight the hunt starts again at 0 Berry. Five data fields, each free to choose in the Connect IQ app from 14 options: heart rate, steps, battery, calories and weather by default, plus distance, floors, active minutes, notifications, battery days, calendar week, date and more. An optional step goal in the settings overrides the goal from Garmin Connect. Always-on mode with burn-in protection: the time in gold, seven dots for the stages you reached and the bounty, and everything moves a little every minute. 12 h or 24 h as set on your watch.
