Description
Control your church's AUDIC song number display from your wrist. Move to the next verse during a service without taking out your phone.
AUDIC displays and the phone app: https://www.audic.cz/
The watch is a remote for AUDIC displays. It sends your commands to the AUDIC app on your Android phone, which passes them on to the display.
WHAT IT DOES
• Next verse with a single press: START or DOWN, or a double tap on the screen.
• Previous verse with UP.
• Playlists: while a playlist is open in the phone app, Next plays its next step (a song, a verse, a psalm text or a picture), and the watch shows what comes next.
• Pick a song number, tune (A, B, C) and verse on the watch, with digit wheels turned by the buttons or with a touch keypad. You choose on first launch and can switch later in the menu.
• Hide and show the display.
• The watch always shows what the display shows: the song number, verse and songbook, or where you are in the playlist. Changes made on the phone appear within a few seconds.
• One short buzz confirms that the display took the command; two long buzzes mean it did not. Nothing beeps.
• A single touch or a sleeve brushing the screen does nothing, so the display cannot change by accident.

WHAT YOU NEED
• An AUDIC song number display.
• An Android phone with the AUDIC Display Controller app, version 0.52.0 or later (Google Play), and Garmin Connect.
• Not available for iPhone.
SETUP
1. Install this app on your watch.
2. In the AUDIC app on your phone, open Settings → General → Experimental and turn on "Control from a Garmin watch". The line under the switch says when it is ready.
3. Start AUDIC on the watch.
The watch sends through the phone, so keep the AUDIC app open on the phone while you use the watch. The "Prevent screen from turning off" setting in the app helps. The phone must be connected to the display as usual (to the display's own Wi-Fi or to the church network).
Tip: put the app on a hot key or in the controls menu of your watch, so that it starts in a second during the service.
IF SOMETHING DOES NOT WORK
"Phone not connected": Bluetooth is off, the phone is out of range, or Garmin Connect is not running.
"Open AUDIC on the phone": the AUDIC app on the phone is closed, or watch control is switched off in its settings.
"Display not reachable": the phone cannot reach the display. Check that it is connected to the display's network.
Languages: English, Czech, Slovak, Polish.
Watches: fēnix 7, 7S and 7X, including the Pro models.
The app collects no data. It talks only to the AUDIC app on your paired phone.
