A valley on your wrist that lives your weather. ———————————————————————— SUNNY sun over the lake CLOUDY solid overcast RAIN rain across the forest STORM lightning in the distance SNOW winter and ice CLEAR NIGHT a crescent and stars ———————————————————————— The top of the screen is the same valley as always, in the weather outside your window. Rain starts and the lake goes grey. It clears at night and a crescent rises over the mountains. Six scenes, and the face switches between them itself. ALSO ON SCREEN — Temperature now, the day's high and low, the conditions in words — Large time and date — Five fields you choose, with a fixed battery ring on the left — Any field takes any of sixteen readings: steps, heart rate, Body Battery, stress, calories, distance, floors, altitude, wind, sunrise, sunset, active minutes, notifications, weekly run distance — or nothing at all — Seven accents: aqua, orange, red, violet, blue, yellow, green — Degrees and distance follow the watch, or your own choice — Always-on leaves the outlined time in the centre WEEKLY RUN IS ITS OWN THING It is not a sum of steps and not your whole day: the face takes Garmin's own weekly running distance. Not every watch and firmware provides it — when yours does not, the field shows -- rather than a number we made up. WHERE THE WEATHER COMES FROM From the Garmin data already on the watch. There is no separate weather service here, no network calls, and the GPS is never switched on. Observations older than three hours are not shown at all — better nothing than yesterday's sunshine over today's rain.
