I built this watch face for myself, and I'm leaving it here in case it's useful to someone in the same situation.
My partner and I live apart. The hardest part isn't the distance itself — it's not having anything concrete to hold onto between visits. So I put the number of days until we meet again right on my wrist, under the clock. I check the time maybe forty times a day. Now every one of those glances tells me how much closer I've gotten.
The other half of my life is running. Weekly mileage sits along the bottom edge, with heart rate and calories on the line above it, so a training week stays visible without opening anything.
What is new
WHAT IT SHOWS
- Time in a dot-matrix display, with day, date and month
- Days until a date you choose, with a name you type in yourself
- Current heart rate and calories burned today
- Weekly distance in km or miles are change to weekly minutes due to error reported
- Weather and temperature, synced from your phone
- Battery percentage
A separate screen appears while the watch is charging, with a progress ring and a rough estimate of the time left.
