SEEING "NO SENSORS NEARBY"? (Free) Free needs a real community sensor within ~2 km, and coverage varies a lot — some areas simply have none. A Saved Location only helps if there ARE sensors near those exact coordinates; pointing it at an empty area still shows nothing. To try: • On the watch: MENU → Location → Saved Location 1 • In Garmin Connect: AirDust → Settings → Locations → "Saved Location 1:" → enter coordinates as 42.123456,23.123456 • See where sensors actually exist at maps.sensor.community If your area has no community sensors at all, Pro is the way to get a reading anywhere. If you reinstall or update AirDust, Pro comes back automatically once your watch syncs with your phone — nothing to re-buy or re-enter. (A key works on one watch at a time.) UPDATES & SETTINGS (a Garmin quirk) Garmin doesn't always download the newest version or your settings automatically. If AirDust looks outdated or a setting won't apply: • Garmin Connect (phone) → Connect IQ Store → My Apps → AirDust → Update (or reinstall — your Pro key is safe) • Keep your watch connected & synced over Bluetooth • After updating, re-open AirDust Settings and Save again • Desktop: Garmin Express → device → Connect IQ Apps → Update Your version shows on the About screen. What's new in 5.6.135 FOR EVERYONE - Stability and memory improvements, including on smaller watches. - Long saved-location names are now shortened on round watches so they fit the screen. FOR PRO Lightning - New Lightning card in the card carousel. When a recent lightning strike is found near you, it shows how far away it is, in which direction, and how long ago. Locations are approximate. - When the storm's movement is known, the card also shows its speed and whether it is Approaching, Moving away or Passing. - To check right now, open the menu and choose Check lightning. You can check once every 5 minutes. - Lightning alerts, off by default: your watch buzzes when a strike is closer than a distance you choose. Turn them on in Garmin Connect (Pollen, UV and Lightning Alarms) or on the watch under Menu, Alert Toggles, Lightning. Alert Range can be 5, 10, 15, 25 or 50 km, and the default is 15 km. Alerts are checked while the widget is open. Sun and UV - The Sun and UV screen (Menu, Sun and UV) is rewritten. It shows clear UV advice and the current UV with its age. On solar watches it also shows the live solar charging signal. It does not measure how much sun you have had. - New Skin Type setting: Fair, Medium (default) or Dark, in Garmin Connect (Pollen, UV and Lightning Alarms, Skin Type). On solar watches, Fair makes the Sun and UV advice one step stricter when the UV index is 3 to 7. - The UV card now says where its number comes from and how old it is. It uses Garmin Weather's current UV when that reading is less than 1 hour old. Air, pollen and sensors - The Air card names a thunderstorm when a fresh weather report says one is happening or possible. - Pollen and UV alerts no longer fire on old readings. This fixes false alerts at night. - The Pro sensor list and the summary now show the same data.
