Description

This is a data field for orienteering. It shows the straight line distance and bearing to the lap start position. When you have to find some place and you know distance and bearing to this place from your current location using your map and compass, you press [LAP] button to mark current location as a reference and go to the place of interest until distance and bearing on the display is equal to the desired one. The arrow always points to the lap start location. Of course you can use this app to return to a previously saved location. # Features * Customizable distance units * Customizable pointer color * Option to display distance units * Option to display the numerical bearing referenced to magnetic north (for use with orienteering maps with magnetic north lines. (Enter the magnetic declination in the settings; positive value for east, negative value for west) * Option to show distance/bearing to the original activity start point. # PRO Version Features * Option to display bearing value as a quadrant bearing (sometimes called quadrantal bearing or reduced bearing); often used in surveying # Related Apps For a more advanced activity app version, see: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/82cadd15-c4bd-4f6e-9e63-3ed10ee19462 OR https://apps.garmin.com/apps/a244b893-992b-44bd-af46-ab7cd790b1cd # Payment For the PRO version, use this link to pay US$1.25 via Stripe (no account required; credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay accepted). https://buy.stripe.com/dRm9AU17ab4u4kLbmSf3d1N Alternative payment via Paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/trudelta/1.25USD Important instructions to get your unlock code quickly: https://ko-fi.com/post/Payments-via-PayPal-Z8Z6AIK78 Payment via Stripe is recommended because you will get your unlock code immediately on the payment confirmation screen.
