Description

Log your drinks in a real Garmin activity. ImbibeScribe tracks drink count, alcohol grams, elapsed time, and a clearly labeled BAC estimate, with charts and session summaries in Garmin Connect. FEATURES - Optional drink locations: choose Enable Locations at first launch, or turn on Record Location in watch or phone settings. Location stays off until you opt in. Each drink saves a fresh GPS fix when available; logging still works without GPS. View coordinates in current or saved drink details. GPS runs only during recording and uses more battery. Turn it off any time to stop future collection. Locations are saved in local history and FIT activities, may sync to Garmin Connect, and are included in local JSON/CSV exports. Turning location off keeps existing history. - Quick drink logging: use a configured generic amount or choose from common servings. Favorites, Repeat Last, and custom volume/ABV make repeated entries easier. - Undo: correct your most recent drink within 30 seconds. Local totals and final activity totals are corrected, with a recorded correction event. - Session views: cycle four pages for your summary, details, BAC graph, and estimated time to zero. Larger text uses seven pages; high contrast is also available. - Recent history: review saved summaries, recent detailed drink lists, and totals for retained sessions within 7 or 30 days. Storage limits vary by device. Clear History removes local saved copies. - Phone settings: edit servings, feedback, units, layout, reminders, and a default activity name through Connect IQ settings. Your name can be up to 15 characters; blank uses ImbibeScribe. New recordings use the selected name. - Regional preferences: choose mL or US fluid ounces and kg or lb; clock formatting follows your watch's 12/24-hour setting. - Optional reminders: water and break reminders with quiet hours run during active recordings. Both are off by default. - Reliable recording: recording updates continue in menus, failed saves can be retried, and discarding requires confirmation. After an interruption, recover the local drink log and resume in a new activity file. - Garmin Connect data: saved activities include drink-count charts and summary fields, alcohol totals, and drink/correction events. BAC fields are included when estimation is available. Previously recorded chart samples cannot be rewritten by Undo. HOW TO USE Press START/SELECT to start a session. During a session, press BACK/LAP to log your configured drink or open the Common List picker. Use UP/DOWN to change pages. Hold MENU/UP for settings, drink history, and recent sessions; START then More also opens the menu. Press START/SELECT during recording for Save, Discard, Back, and quick Undo when available. Open ImbibeScribe's Settings in the Connect IQ phone app to choose your default activity name and other preferences. The watch's Settings, then Activity Name shows the current default and offers Reset to Default. ABOUT ESTIMATES BAC estimates use alcohol grams, elapsed time, weight, and assumed distribution/elimination values. Full Stomach applies a simplified one-hour absorption assumption to future drinks. Profile and elimination-rate changes apply to the next session. Missing or invalid required profile information disables BAC estimates while drink logging remains available. DISCLAIMER ImbibeScribe provides estimates for general awareness. It is not a medical device, breathalyzer, legal tool, or guarantee of sobriety. Actual BAC and impairment vary. Never use an estimate, graph reference, or estimated time to zero to decide whether it is safe or legal to drive, operate equipment, or make safety-critical decisions. Check this listing's Compatible Devices tab for installation availability.
