Description

Liftlap counts your bike park runs per trail and keeps the lift out of them. Press start at the bottom of the hill and ride: every descent becomes a run with its time, drop, distance and top speed, and every chairlift, gondola, shuttle bus or climb is kept apart. A lift ride never counts as a run, never adds to your run time and never sets your top speed. Liftlap recognises your trails from where a run starts and ends, so the same trail gets the same name every time. Each trail has its own PR. After every run you see the time against your PR, and on a trail you have ridden before a ghost on the live screen tells you whether you are ahead of your best. Riding the gondola or the bus back down is spotted and filtered too, and the Up page shows exactly what was left out. WHAT IT DOES - Runs only from descending: start at the highest point, end at the lowest, so rolling to the lift is not trail time - Up segments sorted into lift, shuttle and climb, with count, vertical and time; ride-down filter for gondola or bus - Trails recognised from start and end position; PR, last and average time and number of rides per trail - Delta to your PR after every run, a ghost against your PR during the run, gold bars for PR runs - Form check: compares each run with your best on the same trail and suggests a break when you slow down - Last-lift planner: how many runs still fit before the lifts close, from your own lap times - Day goal in runs, time split (riding, up, between, break), altitude profile, records, trip totals - Name trails, give them a grade colour, reset a PR, remove a run that was not a run - Records the day as a mountain bike activity (downhill or e-MTB if you choose) with a lap per run and per lift WHAT IT NEEDS A watch with GPS and a barometric altimeter. Trail recognition needs a GPS fix at the start and end of a run. The ride-down filter uses the wrist accelerometer; on watches without it, a gondola ride down may count as a run and can be removed afterwards. Liftlap is a riding log, not a safety device.
