Pacehood Live is a data field that shares your live position with the supporters you approved in Pacehood, only while you run a race or a club run. - Requires a Pacehood runner account. Pair the watch once with the single-use code shown in Pacehood (Settings, My watch), entered in this data field's settings in the Garmin Connect app. - Nothing is sent before your activity starts. You can prepare sharing in Pacehood days ahead; the live begins when you start the timer on your watch, whatever your start wave. - Pausing the timer pauses the live. Saving or discarding the activity ends it and removes your last position immediately. - Your phone with the Garmin Connect app must be nearby: the watch sends through it. - Your Garmin activity recording is not changed and is never read by Pacehood. Privacy: only the last position is kept, and only during the race window. It is deleted when you stop, after 30 minutes without signal, or at the end of the race.
