Description
The watch app for 8Round, the stopwatch for hybrid fitness races: eight runs and eight stations.
Start your race on your phone and your watch shows the current segment, its distance or reps, the segment and race clocks, your heart rate and, if you race a ghost, whether you're ahead or behind.
• START, or tapping the screen, starts and ends each segment, just like on the phone.
• In Doubles and Relay it shows whose turn it is and buzzes when it's yours.
• Your watch's heart rate reaches 8Round like a chest strap: segment by segment and by zones.
You need the 8Round app on your iPhone or Android phone, plus Garmin Connect.
To start: in the 8Round app, go to Settings › Your account › Garmin watch. Then open 8Round on your watch and start your race on the phone.
The watch app stores nothing and never goes online: it only talks to your phone app.
What is new
1.1: Hugo or Nora's scene for the current station fills the screen behind your numbers, and your heart rate fills with colour by zone, like in the phone app.
