No complicated setup, just input your local 7-digit NOAA Station ID from https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ in the app settings, and you are ready to go. *** Live Tide Direction: Instantly see if the water is rising (coming in) or falling (going out) with clear, indicators *** Next High & Low Tide: Precise countdown times for the next tidal shifts *** Air/Water Temperature: Real-time local water temperature pulled directly from station sensors. *** Wind Speed & Direction: Live wind velocity and heading *** 8hr Cache: Data is saved for 8hrs. If you lose internet connection or don't have your phone, you will be able to see the last loaded information and a timestamp when it was last updated. Effortless Configuration. Say goodbye to manual coordinates or frustrating location pairing. Find your nearest station ID on the NOAA Tides and Currents website (e.g., 8665530 for Charleston, SC). Open the Garmin Connect IQ app on your phone, go to this app's Settings, and paste the number. Your watch handles the rest, fetching live data directly via your phone's internet connection.
