Description

Free, with nothing to unlock. Conway's Game of Life on your wrist. At the top of every minute Petri writes the time in round cells and scatters living cells around it; then the colony evolves one generation every second, eating the digits away, until the next minute plants a new one. The round window always keeps the exact time. - A new culture every minute: the hour and minute in large dot digits, surrounded by random cells, all following Conway's rules (a cell with three neighbours is born; one with two or three lives on). - The window's clock: digital, the time over the seconds, or analog with a second hand. - Cells: round dots with a small gap (default) or solid squares. - White on black or black on white. Made for the Instinct 2, 2S, 2X, 3 Solar and E (40/45 mm) and the Descent G1, and for round fenix, Enduro, tactix, quatix, Forerunner, MARQ, Descent Mk2 and vivoactive watches with a memory-in-pixel screen. Battery: the board changes every second, so Petri uses more battery than a still face. When the watch limits a watch face's per-second updates, the board moves each second only while you look at the watch and keeps the minute's new culture the rest of the time. Privacy: Petri reads only the clock. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere.
