Description

**Power Dash** is a professional-grade data field designed for serious cyclists who demand precision and customization. Specifically optimized for the 10-field grid on Garmin Edge devices (1050, 850, 840, 530 and more), it consolidates all your critical power and balance metrics into a single, easy-to-read screen. No more switching pages mid-climb—see your real-time effort alongside session averages and lap-specific normalized power. ### Key Features: - **Advanced Power Metrics**: Choose between Instant Power, 3s Average Power, PN (Power that is normalized), Lap Power, and Lap PN. - **Normalized Power Algorithm**: Uses a precise 30-second rolling 4th-power averaging algorithm for both session and lap-based metrics. - **Customizable HUD**: View L/R % Balance with optional 3s smoothing at the top of the field. - **Dynamic "None" Mode**: Don't need balance? Set Field 1 to "None" and the remaining power data will automatically center itself vertically for a cleaner look. - **Personalized Labels**: Customize the suffixes for your data fields (e.g., "AVG", "PN", "LPN") to match your preference (up to 3 characters). - **Precision Battery Tracking**: Choose between **Lithium-ion** and **Coin Cell** battery types for accurate percentage calculation based on your sensor's discharge curve. - **Pro Layout**: Designed to maximize visibility in small rectangles, featuring distinct font sizes for values and labels. ### Data Fields Explained: - **Field 1 (Top Row)**: Instant Balance, 3s Balance, or None. - **Main Display (Center)**: Large, high-visibility display for Power or 3s Power. - **Field 3 (Bottom Left)**: Avg Power, PN, Lap Power, or Lap PN. - **Field 4 (Bottom Right)**: PN, Avg Power, Lap Power, or Lap PN. ### How to Configure: 1. Open the **Connect IQ Store** app on your phone. 2. Go to Device / My Data Fields / Power Dash / Settings. 3. Customize your fields and suffixes. 4. On your Edge device, add Power Dash to any activity profile layout (Optimized for 10-field grids).
