What's new • Accurate distance. The watch now measures your distance from the GPS positions themselves instead of adding up the speed signal - which lost up to 11 percent at touring pace. The 500 m and nautical mile disciplines run over the true distance too. • SUP: normal paddling no longer counts as a pause. The old standstill limit sat right at touring pace and cost a tour several minutes of active time; SUP now has its own limit of 3 km/h. • Bigger numbers. Pages with a single value use the largest digits that fit, the rings are twice as thick, the spot record page moved up front, and the page dots are gone. • Smoother connection: sessions upload to a faster server, and a watch whose key was rejected now lands in the pairing setup instead of a dead end. On the water - The rings are twice as thick and the main numbers are bigger. Both were hard to read in bright sun and spray. - New on the gybe page: your last gybe in numbers - slowest point and exit speed. - Jump height and airtime now fill their ring against your own record at the spot, not just your best of the day. - The distance page shows your own distance record as a number. - The page dots are gone. They were too small to help. Fixed - On longer sessions the elapsed time ran into the speed on the main page. - On Instinct watches the clock overlapped the page title. - After saving you land back on the start screen of your sport, ready for the next session. A filled badge on every page, hollow when it is not - no more wondering halfway through a session whether it is really running. • A ring on every page, always, and it now races your own best of the day. Orange all the way round, filling as your current speed closes in on your best run so far - full and green at the exact moment you are setting a new one. After a jump it does the same: your last one against the highest of the day. No server needed, it works from the second minute at any spot. • New gybes page: how many turns you have ridden, counted live. After you stop, it points you to the phase-by-phase analysis on the website. • The save screen is rebuilt. "Save and Send" is preselected and "Store and send later" sits right below it; "Discard" is set apart, so the two are no longer one careless press from each other. Whichever you pick, you land back at the start of your sport, ready for the next run. • Empty recordings are no longer uploaded.
