A Día de los Muertos night on your wrist. Sugar Skull is a Connect IQ watch face: a large white sugar skull with marigold accents on a deep-purple field, behind a big outlined time display. The whole scene is drawn with polygons, not a bitmap. It uses almost no memory, adapts to any screen resolution, and the decorative sparkles twinkle while the watch is awake. It looks rich on AMOLED displays and quantizes correctly on 64-color MIP displays. Always-on support on AMOLED devices: a burn-in safe low-power screen with dim time and date and a small skull glyph, jittered every minute. Large, readable typography with dark halos so the time stays legible over the scene. Below it, the date and a stats row show heart rate, steps, and battery with charge level. Fully offline. No settings needed. No permissions beyond standard sensors. The face has no user-visible text besides numbers, so it works for any locale.
